Step 1
Set up your logbook
Tell StarLog who the logbook is for and add your vehicle. Choose the type and powertrain, and add details like the odometer reading when you want them.
- Private, business or both, and you can change it later
- A default vehicle so every new trip has the right context
- Units and categories that fit how you work
Step 2
Allow automatic detection
StarLog explains every permission before iOS asks. Location draws the route you travelled, and Always Allow lets iOS wake the app when you start moving.
- Skip any permission and keep a manual logbook
- Used for your private logbook, never for advertising
- Change your mind later in iOS Settings
Step 3
Drive. StarLog verifies.
Recording starts only after several signals point to a credible drive. Motion & Fitness helps tell driving apart from walking, cycling and public transport.
- A notification only when a possible trip needs you
- Live route, distance and duration while you drive
- Review, edit or delete every trip afterwards

Organize, keep private, export
Sort trips into categories, add notes and costs, and keep the whole logbook private. When you need it, export it.
